Candle Care TLC

Keep your candles in excellent condition with a little TLC. Taking care of the candles will make them last longer and burn cleaner.

1. Trim the Wick - Using a pair of scissors, nail trimmer, wire cutters, or Gold Canyon wick trimmer, cut the wick to 1/4". This should be done prior to each burning to ensure a clean bu...rn without soot.

2. Let your candle burn for no more than 4 hours. This is to reduce the amount of carbon buildup on the wick.

3. Gently extinguish the candle by dipping the wick into the wax using a Gold Canyon wick dipper. This will help to keep it from creating soot in the candle and turning the jars black.
