Being a Demonstrator - My Why

Why did I become a Gold Canyon Demonstrator?  Well, after having an empty nest, I was struggling to find something to do with all the extra time I had.  My day job has me sitting in front of a computer for hour upon hour and I wanted to have a little fun!

Well, turns out I'm having a LOT of fun!  I get to meet wonderful people and share my enthusiasm for my product.  In addition, I get paid to attend parties (can't beat that!)

Welcome to my blog

I'm a step-mom/grandmother who has worked in the computer industry for nearly 20 years. I needed a change after the kids left the house. My friend, Inez, invited me to a Gold Canyon home party and it changed my life. I had never been a candle lover, but I've *always* loved fragrances and scents.

They have the most awesome pod warmers, which fills your house with any fragrance type that you might like. After a hard day of work, just plop a scent pod onto the electric pod warmer, set the timer, and relax. Want a different scent - just pop it in - no mess, no fuss.

The guys in the house, my fiance Tom and stepson Matt, loved it also. I'm a floral person, but they found Gold Canyon scents like Autumn Walk that made them into
GC fans also. The girls, Amanda and Hannah, love the scents and the wax is safe for my granddaughter, Allyse.

I'm also a dog lover (3 - Golden Retriever, German Pinscher, and German Shepherd) and the GC scents help with that "wonderful" (insert eye rolling) doggie smell!

And who'da thunk it - I even fell in love with an actual candle - Ginger Lime - so I guess I'm a candle lover after all :-)
